Miss Donna is sensitive to how traumatic this abandonment has been to us, so she is insisting that we only be adopted together. Although we thought we were bona fide members of the family, our owners surrendered us to Miss Donna because they shamelessly left us behind when they moved overseas. Season that with our quiet, dignified, aloof, haughty 'aristocratic' temperament and wry sense of humor, and you've got a pint-sized dichotomy on four legs! I guess you're wondering why perfectly devoted pooches like us need a new home. We interpret that our job is to charm, amuse, and comfort our hoomans. On the other hand, Japanese Chins are gentle, graceful, affectionate, bright, sensitive short-muzzled cuddle dogs with an adorable under-bite and large, dark eyes. However, depending on our owner's lifestyle, we're adaptable: we can be upbeat athletes for active owners yet shameless couch potatoes with homebodies. We Cavaliers are an active breed who enjoys a frolic in the back yard or a squirrel chase. Our sweet, gentle expression draws everyone to us, and we soon become their warm companion, eager to please and with a giving nature. Cavaliers are the ultimate lap dog and effuse a sparkling presence. We get along great with adults and kids as well as other dogs. Arf! Arf, everyone! We're Beto and Cookie, a brother-sister bonded pair of friendly, gentle, laid-back, even-tempered, loving sable and white 15-pound Cava-Chins (Cavalier King Charles Spaniel/ Japanese Chin mix) who were born in September 2018.
